Toka Leya Camp
You will be met at Livingstone Airport and transferred by road to Toka Leya Camp, a tented camp overlooking the Zambezi River. The communal area is complemented by an infinity pool and a pizza oven has novelty appeal. Activities include a river cruise,a game drive, Livingstone town and museum, tour of the Falls on the Zambian side and a visit to a local village. Laundry and local drinks are included (excludes imported brands). Victoria Falls offers many thrilling activities including bungee jumping and white water rafting (extra cost).
Chongwe River Camp
Transfer back to Livingstone Airport for a light aircraft transfer to Lusaka Airport. Transfer to Chongwe River Camp in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Chongwe River Camp is set under a canopy of acacias on the confluence of the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers. The nine tents face the river, which has a resident pod of hippos. You may find that elephant wander over to see what you’re having for breakfast. There is a pool in the camp for cooling off in the heat of the day. Boat cruises, walking safaris and canoeing included. Laundry and local drinks are included.
Transfer from Chongwe River Camp to Lusaka Airport, where you will take a light aircraft transfer to Mfuwe Airport. From here you will be transferred to Kuyenda Camp in South Luangwa National Park. This is an intimate camp, with no more than 8 guests. With its cluster of traditional thatched grass huts and back-to-nature feel, this charming and rustic camp offers a true taste of the Africa bush. Guided nature walks are included. Laundry and local drinks are included.
Mumbo Island, Malawi
Transfer from Mfuwe airport to Lilongwe, by air (approximately 1 hour). You will be met at the airport and transferred by road to Cape Maclear (approximately 4 hours). Transfer by boat to Mumbo Island (approximately 45 minutes), for your three night stay Mumbo Island Camp. The camp is situated on a pristine, practically deserted tropical island. You will stay in comfortable tents with hot bucket showers and eco-loos. The waters of Lake Malawi are wonderful for snorkelling and scuba diving. The emphasis is on connecting with nature. Bird-life is amazing. Kayaking and snorkelling is included. Drinks and scuba driving are excluded in the rate.
Transfer back to Cape Maclear by boat, followed by aroad transfer to Lilongwe. Continue with your onward arrangements.
