Nine luxurious rooms of canvas and thatch have their own verandah with private plunge pool. An open-sided thatched gym is available. Activities include day and night game drives, walks and boat cruises along the Linyati River (water levels allowing). The 125 000 hectare Linyati Concession lies on the western borders of Chobe National Park.

Jao Camp, Okavango Delta

Transfer by light aircraft to Jao Camp which is located on a remote island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp has nine luxurious tents with views of the nearby channel. The main area has two plunge pools, a gym and a spa with a wide range of massage therapies. With habitats that vary from waterways and lagoons to dry Kalahari grasslands, Jao offers both land and water experiences, depending on the annual flood levels. Mokoro, boating and day and night game drives are usually on offer all year round.

Mombo Camp, Okavango Delta

Mombo Camp, recently “refreshed” on Mombo Island just off the northern tip of Chief’s Island is built under large shady trees and overlooks a floodplain teeming with wildlife. Spacious tents are raised off the ground, built to maximize the vistas over the plains. The main living area has a plunge pool. Morning and afternoon games drives are offered. Mombo Camp has the reputation for offering the best game viewing experience in Africa.
