Little Makalolo Camp, Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls, connect by flight to Hwange for 3 nights at Little Makalolo. The camp is located in the south-eastern corner of the park, an exclusive concession area of about 500 square kilometres. The Makalolo concession is ecologically diverse with large flat grasslands, palm-spotted plains, acacia woodlands and teak forests. Plains game is plentiful, along with predators such as lion, leopard, wild dog and cheetah. The camp has a plunge pool in the communal area and a log pile hide overlooking a waterhole.

Rukomechi Camp, Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe

Transfer by light aircraft from Hwange to the Lower Zambezi for 3 nights at Ruckomechi in Mana Pools National Park, situated in the heart of the Zambezi Valley. Wildlife viewing is superb with large numbers of elephant, buffalo, hippo and eland. Birdlife is abundant. Wildlife viewing takes place in open 4×4 vehicles, on motorised pontoon boats, on foot and in canoes. Guests are accommodated in en-suite tented units. There is a communal area with an infinity swimming pool.

Shumba Camp, Kafue National Park, Zambia

Depart Ruckomechi on a boat transfer to Chirundu, followed by a road transfer to Lusaka and onward scheduled flight to the Kafue National Park for three nights at Shumba Camp. Situated in the centre of the Busanga Plains, close to permanent water and within easy access of the teeming floodplains, Shumba is named after the large pride of lions in the area. The Camp consists of six luxury safari tents with spectacular views. Activities include game drives, hot air balloon trips and boating (seasonal).

The River Club, Livingstone, Zambia

Depart Kafue on your flight to Livingstone Airport. Transfer by road to the River Club, an old 1940’s homestead on the magnificent Zambezi River, where you will spend a night. Enjoy a tour of Victoria Falls, morning or evening game drives in the Victoria Falls National Park and morning or evening boat cruises on the Zambezi River. The infinity pool has a wonderful view of the Zambezi River. An all weather tennis court is available.

After a relaxing start to the day, or morning activity, transfer by road to Livingstone Airport for your onward arrangements.
